We're going to try to collect as much information as we can here,
with links to where you can find it
This continues with the events leading up to Trig Palin's birth on April 18, 2008 in Wasilla, Alaska.  Information about earlier events can be found here.
(The information in the left column is if Sarah is Trig's mother; the right column is if Bristol is the mother.

If Sarah is the mom,
then the story is  ...
If daughter Bristol is the mom,
then the story is  ...
April 16, 2008 (36 weeks - eight months pregnant) - Sarah and husband Todd travel to the
Republican Governor's Association meeting in Dallas, Texas.
Of course Sarah must have checked with her doctor before making this 8-hour flight while she is 8 months pregnant.  This is an important conference on an important topic, and simply being eight months pregnant is not a good enough reason not to attend. The only reason that Sarah makes this 8000-mile round trip is that ... Sarah isn't pregnant!
Now, there is the risk that Sarah will have to scramble to get back to Wasilla if eight-month pregnant
Bristol goes into labor early, but that seems like a safe risk ...
April 17, 2008 (36 weeks - eight months pregnant) - At the  Republican Governor's Association
meeting in
Dallas, Texas, Sarah's bag of waters begins to leak
After Sarah feels her waters begin to leak, she shows true Alaska grit and gumption, and goes up and gives her speech at the meeting  The host asks if she'll be alright, and Sarah assures him that she will be. Perhaps Sarah and Todd get a call from Bristol that Bristol's bag of waters is starting to leak.  They check flight schedules, and maybe they realize that they can still make it to the airport even if Sarah gives her speech.
April 17, 2008 (36 weeks - eight months pregnant)- Despite having started labor, Sarah does not go to any of the hospitals in Dallas with Neonatal Intensive Care Units, and instead boards a flight to Anchorage.
Sarah says that she consulted with her doctor, who did not tell her to go immediately to a Dallas hospital, and instead, permitted Sarah to take a 8-hour flight back to Anchorage. If Sarah's story is true, she is endangering the baby (which is at risk of infection once the waters start to leak), and putting herself and others at risk that she would give birth during this flight - likely causing an emergency landing.  It is very unlikely that any doctor would have OK'd getting on a plane under these circumstances.  Maybe more likely - Sarah is not pregnant (nor in labor obviously), and is getting back to Bristol quickly.
April 17, 2008 (36 weeks - eight months pregnant) - There is a stop-over in Seattle on this odyssey.
Alaska Airlines later reports that Sarah did not appear to be in labor or in distress at any time.
Actual active labor hasn't really started yet, and Sarah is comfortable (1 - 2 contractions per hour).  She doesn't inform the airline or the flight crew about her condition so that they can make contingency plans or prevent her from flying. Well, Sarah must have "Kegels of Steel." This whole part of Sarah's story, including stopping in Seattle while in labor, is very difficult to believe.  It is also hard to believe that the flight crew would not have noticed that the Governor looked like she was late in pregnancy or in labor.
April 17, 2008 (36 weeks - eight months pregnant)- Sarah lands in Anchorage, and does not go to either of  the hospitals in Anchorage with high quality birthing facilities, and instead drives an hour to Wasilla.
Again, active labor hasn't really started yet, and Sarah is comfortable.  Having reached Anchorage, it's important to Sarah that she be with her regular doctor, Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, who had delivered seven-year-old Piper. On the way to Wasilla, Sarah drives past two large hospitals in Anchorage with facilities for high-risk deliveries. It seems pretty clear that the reason that Sarah needed to get to the small Mat-Su Regional Medical Center is that is where Bristol was.  Plus, it's odd that Dr. Baldwin-Johnson is not listed on staff at this hospital, and in fact, is not even an Ob-Gyn doctor.  Sarah had appointed Dr. Baldwin-Johnson to a state medical board.
April 18, 2008 - Trig is born at 6:30 a.m.
... as Sarah's fifth child. ... as Sarah's first grandchild.
